With four generations brought up by Gumby, there is a new upwelling of popularity for the green clay boy. Sony is merchandizing Gumby in Japan with over 300 quality items, and Rhino Entertainment is releasing the episodes on DVD in the U.S. Premavision / Clokey Productions has a new animation studio on the Central Coast of California with the best animators in the world on board again. The Pilot of a new series called "Gumbyworld" featuring Art with celebrity guests teaching animation and introducing episodes has just been completed.


The studio also produced two sets of station ID's for ABC featuring Gumby and Pokey, and two 30 second spots for the ELCA featuring Davey and Goliath. Clokey Productions is again working closely with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to re-introduce the world to a new Davey series in a contemporary setting.

Our studio is now in full production of "Davey and Goliath's Snowboard Christmas". It's a one hour stop-motion TV special that we think will be a huge hit. The "Extreme" sports footage of Davey and his buddies ripping up the slopes on their snowboards is amazing. The story is pure Davey magic too.
